A bit about me
Hi! I’m Rick Huby, an experienced website developer based in the North West. I have experience in both front end and server side development.
My server side experience includes over 7 years working with PHP and around 3 years Java, with experience in TDD. I’ve dabbled in the world of the database but wouldn’t consider myself a DBA by any stretch of the imagination. On the front end I have experience with XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (including frameworks, OO and TDD) and have worked with WebDriver and Selenium for UI testing.
I’ve worked on small projects for SME’s, custom ecommerce websites, as well as enterprise applications with hundreds of thousands of monthly users. I’ve experienced life in both agency & corporate environments and worked under both traditional & agile methodologies.
I love working on web applications with enthusiastic teams, in environments focussed on quality.
